Re: Made it through the holidays

All I can say is hold on for Spring. I get in the winter slump and I can drive. How old are your sons? My son is good about playing uno or something like that with me. It breaks up the monotony and we do something besides watch tv. He is 8. My daughter who is 11 keeps thinking she is too old and cool for that and would rather listen to music in her room. I make her play a game once in a while and she'll grumble but usually has fun once it starts. When I was first injured she was 8. She used to take on so much. She would watch me and say she wished it was her. She also used to insist on loading my chair. Now it's been 3 years and she only loads it in the truck if she feels like sitting up front where I put it. It is difficult when you see their pain and them wanting to take it off of you.  I don't know your level or any info but my kids also like to bake. Sometimes making a cake or one of those tubes of cookies makes everyone feel better and there is time when they are ready to eat them together.
I just came back from yesterday.
