Many of our
Team Reeve participants are inspired by a friend or family member who is living with a spinal cord injury. This brother and sister pair out of New York are no exception.
For the better part of the last seven months, nearly every day has started the same way for Kevin and Lindsay Morgan.
At 4 a.m., the Morgans would will themselves out of their respective beds. Then came the foray through the front door, leading to another encounter with a pitch-black morning in upstate New York.
Runs stretching past 10 miles were part of this pre-dawn routine. Bike rides approaching 60 miles were included. So, too, were hours in a pool. And let us concede that the bone-chilling temperatures that accompany winter in Rochester, N.Y. did not always make things easy.
Nonetheless, the Morgans, brother and sister, persevered through this training because of one man -- their uncle, Robert Morgan. (Pictured with Kevin and Lindsay).
