Paralyzed British soldier climbs El Capitan

I'm a little behind on my Phil Packer update. He is the paralyzed British soldier who rowed the English Channel, walked the London Marathon and has now climbed El Capitan. He finished the climb, which he described as just doing 4,254 pull-ups, in three-and-a-half days.

Watch a video of him reaching the summit.

About gerthro

I lived all my life in and around the Philadelphia area. Went to Temple University, taught television production at Plymouth Whitemarsh high school. In the meantime, I've had lots of jobs in television and multimedia. I left my position as the managing editor of MensHealth.com to come to the Reeve Foundation as the manager of online communications in 2007.
