I'm trying to do a theme in my guest bedroom - - it's where my computer resides, as well as my piano...and my collection of carnivale masks(
www.visionsofvenice.com;
www.socaldesignco.com) (not the wearable kind...decorative & expensive!). I decided to go with a black and white theme, with splashes of red...since when i moved in here, the landlord/owner left towels, bath accessories for the guest bathroom - they happened to be white and black...so i'm going with a musical/romantic theme...black and white, matching my ivory keys. I recently went to hobby lobby, when they had their scrapbook materials & frames on sale...i got two black frames (one 5x7, and one 4x6 size), and found some musical-styled scrapbook paper...i took the stuff home, and cut out a 4x6 size of the paper, as well as a 5x7 size and put them into the picture frames...I had a friend come up and ask where i bought the art from...she was surprised & shocked when i told her how they were made! cheap, and by hand! my sheets are white, with black paisley design on them...and i throw a rose on the bed. Eventually, I'd like to create the whole room into a Phantom of the Opera room, since I'm addicted to both the musical & the play! Coming soon in the mail, is a signed picture still from the movie, signed both by emma rossum & gerard butler (christine & phantom)...slowly but surely it's starting to look musical-ish. I just recently bought a picture that says "Life is a Song, Love is the Music"...beautiful!
