    pooh girl:

    Hey Pears,

My sneak preview friend got to see Hancock last week and they all really like it.  They thought it was really good.    Can't figure out if Wall*e will be good or not as a full movie overall.

Oh YAY!  Thanks for sharing this! My oldest and I can't wait to see it...now I am even more excited!

I have heard that Wall*E is supposed to be the best Pixar ever.  I hope to find out soon! Ü

    Re: Summer movies

What to do on a day that I just want to crawl back into bed and pull the covers over my head...?

I am taking these kids to see WALL*E!  I hope to be able to lose myself in a silly little happy story and that it will lift my spirits.

    Re: Summer movies

Does anyone know anything about the "American Girl" movie coming out? It stars Agigail Breslin.

    Thanks,

We saw Wall*E over the weekend and love it!!  Now I didn't care for KungFu Panda.  Just not my kind of movie I guess.

The funny thing about me liking KungFu (sorry I spelled it wrong earlier...der!) Panda, is that I never intended to see it.  Had 0 desire to see it.  Wasn't interested in the LEAST!

My 12 yr old ds on the other hand...was a different story.  He kept saying it to me over and over. "You wanna see KungFu Panda...not Wall*E!  KungFu Panda is what you are taking us to..." like he was giving me subliminal messaging or something. LOL!  Ornery!  We only went because his messaging worked somehow and I was LATE for Wall*E! LOL! LOL!  I gave in, because two of my three that were with me voted yes, and I wanted to spoil them.  I wasn't expecting much, so maybe that is why I ended up liking it...?  Who knows?!

Wall*E is the better movie by FAR, however!  LOVED LOVED LOVED it!

    Re: Summer movies

We went to see The Hulk while we were gone for the week and I thought The Hulk was really good. Never made it to see Iron Man.  From what I gather the two of them will be back in the future.

    **********Possible Spoiler Question Alert*************************

I have a question for those who did see the movie already.

Did Mr Blue die in the movie?  I am thinking no myself unless I missed something and he will be back later, but my husband thinks he did.

    Thoughts?

So, what movie did you see this past weekend?

Believe it or not, NONE! LOL  Larry's mom has been here since Thursday or Friday and our daughter is taking her back home to her place tonight after they have a "girl's" day out together (movie--Kit Kitteridge--and dinner at the Olive Garden).

While my MIL was here we rented "Fool's Gold" and "Grace is Gone" (a Blockbuster "Exclusive" but it had been nominated for two "Golden Globe Awards").  "Fool's Gold" was funny and very enjoyable (a very good "rental") and "Grace is Gone" is a real "tear-jerker"--I absolutely LOVED it.

Also, while my MIL was here, on Saturday, we went to the largest winery in this region of KY and did a wine tasting.  It was a lot of fun!  Then, on Sunday, got up and went to church, then went to Churchill Downs (yes, the horse race place) where they were having some bicycle races.  (The bike races were rather "boring" for my MIL and me but we "suffered" through for about two hours so hubby could see one complete race from start to finish).  Saturday, hubby and I went on a 42 mile bike ride in IN.

We are going on a bike ride in a couple hours, then to see "Wall-E"...I'll let you know how I liked it!

    Love ya!

    Best,

Sounds like you have been busy and having a little fun too. Nice that you are supporting your dh by going with him to the bike races.

Let me know how you like Wall-E.  Heard some say it was pretty good movie. :)
