• What Was She Thinking?

Heard a minute ago that the Octomom fired all her free daycare help from Angels In Waiting. Why? I read her reasoning was that ''the person in charge'' was actually spying on her for DFCS and that she was ''writing a bad report''. Does that woman not realize that DFCS ALREADY HAS A WHOLE ROOM OF FILES AND REPORTS ON HER!

  • Re: Immoral content in high school drama production

Well, I will have to admit that is not doubt the strangest skit I ever seen...in school or anywhere else. Have you discussed this with the instructor. That is the first thing you should do. Ultimately, if you don't approve of the content, remove your children from it. Sometimes you have to do tough things.

The only reason I can think of for seperation would be for abuse. That's about it. I have never understood the concept of seperation: why would you part when you are trying to stay together? Crazy....

  • Re: What a Mess We Have Created!

Well, about the only thing I can think of is counseling. However, of all the couples in my church that I have suggested that to over the years, counseling itself never prevented divorce. I think you and her both need to sit down and decide to love each other and divorce is not an option. That's going to be a tough pill, for her ...

Well, yes most older teens who I knew attended both universities and community colleges lived with their parents, including myself (although not with my parents per se). I find it strange that some suggestions accuse him of living ''off'' you. There was a time that boys were just simply told to leave when they graduated from high ...

  • Re: how does Marriage Counseling work?

Believe me, ''marriage couseling'' can freak you out, if you let. It seems like it just an effort to talk you out if it. I think that everytime I listen to Christian Radio and hear the ''marriage expert''. On one hand, Christian family experts say ''preserve traditional marriage'' then when you get to the pre-marital session, ...

  • Male Spousal Abuse..

My granny and I were watching the news today and again the Rihanna/Chris thing was on tv. My grandmother preceded to tell me a story that I have never heard: ''Your grandaddy's brother, Quinten, when he married Dale, used to show up at our house all black-and-blue. He always told us that he was getting into fights at the bars. I ...

Well, it seems that you are making headway here. I hope it continues. Somewhere, in another forum posted on this site, there is a similar topic. I posted a pretty long response to it. You would do well to read it. It is the same problem you have, except that it involved my brother and his wife. To sum, an old ...

Pal, ''self-control'' is not the issue. The Bible says Joseph RAN from Potiphar's wife! Notice what he did not do: He did not try to withstand the temptation in order to ''gain self-control''. Now, I would agree that an obsessive type of jealously is wrong. I am not talking about that. But I am ...

Buddy, you had best put a stop to that now! A female can be talked into anything by a guy who knows what to say. That's the reason you can turn on the tv and see where some sexual predator has talked 12 15-year old girls into meeting him! Let me give a personal example: I had a friend whoe married in 1992. In ...

  • Re: Can Role Distinction Exist Within Equality?

Yes, it can. like the poster above, it depends on what definition of ''equality'' you are using. One way feminists tend to define it is in sense of performance; i.e., a woman can do anything a man can do. The Bible does not define equality in that sense at all. Here's something that will shock you: The Bible does not ...

If ''snooping'' prevents your child, whether 5 or 18, from delving into major sin, or causing some huge problem to your family or someone else...do it. Don't let this imaginary notion of ''right to privacy'' prevent you from ''preventing'' a problem. Let me give your a personal example: In 1992, I was playing in a band at a ...

My boy, Daniel has problems with toliet training. He just will not have bowels movements in the potty at home. His teachers claim that he will at school. Since I am not there, I can't verify that. We have tried various methods and right now the the best results (about once a week, normally) come from a reward system. ...

Yeah, I imagine those are the main reasons why so many couples don't want to adopt: law and money. I say law because of the legal red tape. I had friend who decided that he and his wife would adopt a child from some agency. He said ''I knew there would be a foot or two of red tape...'' But after it was over (6 ...

A 7000 sq ft house! The average square feet in a house now is 2,330! They should have enough room for everybody! That brings up another point I have been hearing about: do you to be rich to have lots of children? • Re: husband's brother wants his girlfriend to stay in same room w/him in our home when visiting our city.

Let me tell you something: 1) Stick to your rules 2) As far as your husband goes, if he's mad about you doing right, that's ok. 3) If you ''sever'' your brother-in-law's relationship, so be it. I will sever any relationship with family or friends before I allow my children and kind of bad example that I could have prevented.

  • Re: Accepting the amount of children God gives

Well, the main question here is can you legally have lots of kids. The answer is ''no''. (1) There is a limit to how people can reside in a certain amount of sqaure footage in a dwelling. I was not aware of this until the spring of last year when my neice told me she was pregnant. She lives with my grandmother. Even tho ...

Well, you need to understand something: If he has an illegal substance in your home, you had better tell him to take it out of the house. Someone will eventually realize that and call the law. You will have a very hard time explaining how you let your son keep pot in your house. You could get in just as much trouble with ...
