    Curious on my 1st W.T.R...

I recently became engaged, and we are planning on attending our first weekend 2 remember conference, for the engaged couples.

Curious about it - - what goes on? Does anyone know the answer to this?

    Thanks! ;)

    GloryB,

First of all, "Congratulations" on your recent engagement.

A WTR is a great place to learn how to start and run the race of your life, that you and your fiance are just beginning.  All kinds of issues about a marriage relationship are addressed and you will end up learning so much.  Issues such as, "Why Marriages Fail", "Unlocking the Mystery of Marriage", "What Every Marriage Needs", "How Marriages Thrive", and 'How to Leave a Legacy".  Also, there are some great breakout sessions for "Pre-Marrieds" that will encourage you and your fiance to take a good look at each other and your future together as a husband and wife.

As couples, many of us think, we are so prepared for what lies ahead in life concerning our marriage relationship.  The truth is we do not even know the half of it when we say "I Do".  What God has brought together and made good, the "Enemy" is trying to destroy at every turn.  It always helps to know a little about what to expect and how to fight for that which is good from some who have been around the block a few times.  And "FamilyLife" has done it right with the speaker teams that are put together for each conference.

By all means, attend a WTR, you'll be glad you did!  Begin the race and be determined to make it to the finish line together!
