On Friday 2/3/2012 I went in for my routine 6 month CT scan. The Dr. said that the scan looked good, but the official report would not be in for a little while. So we headed home thankful for yet another clear scan. The following Monday my Dr. called with the news that the radiologist had reviewed the scan and found a place of reoccurrence on the left diaphragm. Being that the original diagnosis of Peritoneal Mesothelioma was in 2/2010, I knew a reoccurrence this soon was bad. So, before being cut from the breast bone down again, I had to be sure it was a reoccurrence. I called Mary Hesdorffer and asked her where to go for a second opinion. She hooked me up with some great people at NCI on 2/15. The Dr. there confirmed a reoccurrence. It measured 3x1cm's. He recommended surgery.
So, I was scheduled for surgery on 3/5/2012.
Before I was originally diagnosed with Peritoneal Mesothelioma one of my best friends gave me a CD of Bible verses. This CD was full of God's promises about healing. I claimed several of these verses, and I truly believed that Jesus had healed me. So how could there be a reoccurrence?!
A group of our closest friends started fasting and praying, asking and believing that when my Dr. opened me up there would be nothing there.
THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED!!!!
My Dr. told my husband after surgery that he was surprised at how clean I was. The area thought to have been a reocurrence was a hernia. There were 7-8 questionable nodules. I did have the heated chemo again. On 3/12 the pathology report of the questionable nodules came back, and all biopsies were negative. THANK YOU JESUS!!! I also went home that day.
Friends, Jesus walked the earth and healed people 2000 years ago. I truly believe that He still heals today. HE HEALED ME!
My hearts desire is that my story gives you hope, because with God "ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE" ( Matt. 19:26 )
Once again I do not have all the answers of why God heals some, and not others, but I do know my story.
Ps 103:3, "He forgives all my sins, and heals all my diseases." If anyone would like a copy of the Bible Verse CD, I would be glad to send one to you.

Ginger..your testamony mirrors mine as well...I stood and still stand on Psalms 103...dx with pleural meso in Feb.2010...epp at Duke...yet I have a question for you...do you live in western north carolina....
